Mikiyas Bekele, a scholar who is leading GRNPP-funded research on the relationship between civil society and parliament, has written 19 articles in Amharic about civil society in democracy in the newspaper, which can be found on the Addis Maleda archive.
He has also hosted a workshop with the scholars, MPs, a member of the Justice Advisory Committee, CSO leaders and civil society representatives to discuss public participation in law-making. This has been featured on an Ethiopian TV station (Asham) but also uploaded onto YouTube, view below.
