From 7-9 September 2020 the Global Research Network on Parliaments and People held a symposium about democracy in Myanmar and Ethiopia. In this webinar presentation Pyae Sone Aung, Research Director at Yone Kyi Yar, explains this how this GRNPP-funded project looked at local governance in Sagaing Township in Mandalay. Pyae wrote a report but also communicated the findings through poetry and collaborated with a graphic designer and artist to produce a series of watercolours to depict what they found.
