This policy briefing, published by the SOAS Corridors of Power project, argues for retaining the UK Parliament’s capacity to scrutinise aid. In particular, Emma Crewe sets out the arguments for converting the existing International Development Select Committee into a new committee looking at Overseas Development Assistance by all UK government departments.
