Addressing children marriage practices in Amhara, Ethiopia

From 7-9 September 2020 the Global Research Network on Parliaments and People held a symposium about democracy in Myanmar and Ethiopia. In this webinar presentation Seblewongiel Aynalem, from Bahir Dar University, reports her GRNPP-funded project’s research findings about child marriage. Her research involved community conversations and an analysis of current attitudes, laws, policies and practices towards child marriage within communities and among politicians.
