From 7-9 September 2020 the Global Research Network on Parliaments and People held a symposium about democracy in Myanmar and Ethiopia. In this webinar presentation Yonas Ashine reports on his part of a GRNPP-funded project, led by Professor Kassahun Berhanu, also from the Political Science Department of Addis Ababa University. Dr Ashine has been undertaking a nationwide survey on citizen’s perceptions of the Ethiopia parliament and he tells us about what he discovered.
