From 7-9 September 2020 the Global Research Network on Parliaments and People held asymposium about democracy in Myanmar and Ethiopia. In this webinar presentation Arsema Worku explains how she made her film as part of a GRNPP-funded project ‘Deepening Democracy through citizen participation in Ethiopia’, led by Deribe Assefa Aga. She wanted to get people to think differently about democracy and about how it begins in households and communities.
